Increasing Response Rates by Calling Random Names

The teacher has a system in place to randomly choose names during a lesson. This could be done electronically (with Wheel of Names) or with a physical medium (paper or Popsicle sticks). After asking a question, the teacher selects a name and calls on that student to answer.
